Basic Function:

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, provide effective and timely coordination, scheduling, direction and support for implementing and sustaining Asset Reliability, Preventive and Predictive maintenance, safety, overall equipment reliability, and product quality at optimum efficiency. In addition, the maintenance planner will be in contact with suppliers, manufacturers, service providers, vendors and contractors to fulfill some maintenance work order requests. The incumbent will provide project management support in the administration as well as the technical and management tasks of the department.

To work as resource with Production, Set-up Mechanics, Facility technicians Electricians, Operators, and Engineering.

This position is primarily responsible for:

•Planning, Developing and coordinating job plans for all planned maintenance, predictive and preventive maintenance, in conjunction with reliability leaders, reliability engineers, maintenance, setup mechanics and operations, and all maintenance personnel to improve the reliability of the equipment.

•Reviewing of current preventive activities for improvements in process.

•Maximize the equipment reliability using a systematic approach to planning and scheduling maintenance work, using various methods, Project plans, automated PM software (BMRAM).

•Facilitate weekly planning, down-days, and outage meetings. To adjust to changes in operations.

•Work on regularly scheduled shutdowns and must be available for specific operations or projects.

•Provide technical assistance and maintenance expertise to all personnel.

•Provide project management support, administrative, technical and management.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

•A minimum of a two-year technician or technologist diploma -OR- advanced technical training.

•At least 5 years’ experience at a high level of mastery discipline.

•Possess an extensive working knowledge of maintenance concepts and techniques with demonstrated expertise in asset reliability technology and systems

•Have working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic circuits and troubleshooting techniques.

•Have working knowledge of welding, fabrication, soldering, etc.

•General knowledge of pipefitting, plumbing, electrical.

•Proficient in excel, word, MS smart sheet and general computerized systems
